Folsom Ready Mix Throws Memorial Day Employee BBQs
We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend last week! We took the holiday weekend as an opportunity to come together and honor the troops and our employees. We had BBQs at our Roseville plant and our Rancho Cordova plant surrounding the holiday weekend.
Improving Performance with Driver Training on Slump
At Folsom Ready Mix, we educate all of our drivers in the ASTM Standard Specification for Ready Mix Concrete. Customer service is our top priority and we believe that starts with knowledgeable employees. Our customer feedback is extremely important to us and have since had customers in the field bring up concerns with drivers and the inconsistency around our slump. As a result, we have made a big push to dedicate time and resources to completing slump training with all drivers recently. Continued education is the key to our success and improvement. The ASTM Standard Specification for Ready Mix Concrete that we educate our drivers with is extremely thorough and meticulous.
ACI Golf Classic Event
This year, Folsom Ready Mix participated in the American Concrete Institute’s (ACI) annual golf tournament. We participated as a silver sponsor in this ACI Golf Classic. Do you service residential jobs or commercial jobs?
Folsom Ready Mix prides itself on its ability to service both residential and commercial jobs. Our dedicated concrete laboratory can handle the most complex concrete applications. In addition, we pride ourselves on our service and quality that we deliver to the residential contractor. These smaller contractors are the backbone that helped us build our business from the ground up.
What is your ready mix concrete delivery area?
We service the greater Sacramento / Folsom metropolitan area typically 45 minutes in any direction. We will also deliver outside of our normal service radius with enough notice. Please note that additional out of area fees and concrete additives may apply when traveling longer distances outside of our normal service area.
What are the current ready mix concrete prices?
Prices vary. The main driver in the pricing of concrete is the materials that are contained in the mix such as the cement content (measured in sacks), the type of rock, etc. Other factors that affect price include admixtures, color, regulatory fees, on-site personnel and equipment charges. The last factor in the price of concrete is the volume needed as well as the delivery location. Contact our Sales and Scheduling Department to get a quote for your project’s needs.
