Fiber-reinforced concrete is concrete containing discrete synthetic fibrous material able to withstand the long-term alkaline environment of concrete. Fibers for concrete reinforcement are available in a variety of lengths, densities and blends. Fibers are introduced in to the concrete mix during the batching process. Fibers are mixed and uniformly distributed in the concrete. Samples of fibers supplied by Folsom ready mix are available through the sales department.

Shasta County is building an entirely new courthouse this year and Folsom Ready Mix is helping with the build! This project has been a combined effort between all Folsom plants. We’ve had a total of 3 matte slab pours for the Shasta County Courthouse at 1200 yards each. This has been one of our biggest pours since the Shasta County dam. The new courthouse in Redding is set to be completed in the spring of 2021.

This Saturday October 26th from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM the Cordova Recreation & Park District is hosting its annual Halloween at Hagan event in Rancho Cordova! As we were last year, Folsom Ready Mix are proud sponsors of this great community event!
