We are pleased to announce that Folsom Ready Mix has donated the concrete and the hauling charges needed to create the fencing at the new Rocklin Police Department’s K-9 Training Facility. The Rocklin Police Officer’s Association has been hoping for a K-9 training facility for quite some time. We were happy to help, even in a small way!
From Gold Country Media:
The course will serve Rocklin’s two K-9 units and other law enforcement agencies within the county and beyond, if there is a need. Up until now, Rocklin’s K-9 units have trained in Davis. Rocklin currently has two K-9 teams, Officer Jeremy Black and Condor, and Officer Tim Sartain and Bronco. Condor and Bronco are German Shepherds. The course will be set up with different types of obstacles. When officers come up against something new, a facsimile of that obstacle can be recreated in the course to provide training for others.
