Folsom Ready Mix Donates Concrete to Mark Stasyuk Fallen Officer Memorial Rancho Cordova

We are honored to be a part of the memorial process in remembrance of Officer Stasyuk and in support of our law enforcement community. A permanent Peace Officers Memorial will be installed in front of the police department on Kilgore Road in Rancho Cordova. The memorial celebrates Officer Stasyuk’s life and passions and was designed by Bennett Sculptures with input from Rancho Cordova Police Department (RCPD) and Officer Stasyuk’s family. The site will provide an opportunity to memorialize and recognize RCPD Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while on-duty. Folsom Ready Mix has donated concrete for the construction of this memorial. We are working with Otto Construction who is handling the construction and concrete placement of this project.

On September 17, 2018, Rancho Cordova Police Officer Mark Stasyuk made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting our community. The loss has left a lasting impression on our community that continues to show an outpouring of support for Officer Stasyuk, his family, as well as for his RCPD and Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office family. A Peace Officers Memorial is under construction outside of RCPD on Kilgore Road to memorialize and recognize Rancho Cordova Police Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while on-duty. The memorial will give our community a communal place to remember and honor Officer Stasyuk’s dedication and sacrifice. Multiple partners have contributed to the memorial, and a monument unveiling is anticipated in 2021.

It has been heartwarming to see the outpouring of community support to help make this memorial a possibility. We are privileged to be a part of the process and look forward to the finished project.
