Folsom Ready Mix Sponsors 2021 Builders Fore Kids Charity Golf Tournament

On Monday October 18^th, 2021 Folsom Ready Mix joins in the Builders Fore Kids Charity Golf Tournament at the Granite Bay Golf Club. This year we are participating as a foursome in sponsorship of this event. The goal is to raise $30,000 for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento to complete their “Field of Dreams” project! Proceeds from this event will be used to help The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento and members of SMUD’s Building Leadership Talent team raise the needed funds to complete the “Field of Dreams” Project and anything exceeding that goal will be shared among additional children’s organizations.

The Boys & Girls Club is a fantastic youth development organization that helps to shape the lives of young people from all walks of life and all abilities through educational after school and in school programs that build character, reinforce integrity, instill life-enhancing values, and promote perseverance.

We’re very proud to be a part of such a great effort. One of our larger commercial customers, Roebbelen Contracting, Inc, established Builders 4 Kids as a non-profit entity with a goal to assist organizations in progressing their programs to desired levels, not only monetarily, but also with in-kind services, materials and volunteer hours.

A little about the “Field of Dreams” project:

The soon-to-be constructed baseball field will provide a safe space where kids can connect with others, build the skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals, and PLAY BALL! The field will be located at the Club’s Teichert Branch in the Lemon Hill neighborhood of South Sacramento.
