Folsom Ready Mix Gold Sponsor for Remember a Vet Wreath Project Golf Tournament

This year we joined a fantastic organization, Remember a Vet, as Gold Sponsors for their 6^th Annual Golf Tournament Benefitting the Annual Wreath Project. We joined in on the fun earlier this month on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento for the shotgun start at 7:30 AM, followed by a BBQ lunch and awards program.

More on the Wreath Project:

The Annual Wreath Project is a local tradition that began in 2006 when the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery opened outside of Dixon, California. Wreaths were placed on the gravesites during holiday time in honor of our fallen veterans. The mission is to secure donations to purchase boughs, ensuring that each veteran’s gravesite at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery is recognized and honored during the holiday season.

We are also concentrating on raising awareness of this project and encouraging other civic groups, organizations and individuals to join in this effort each year, for this and other cemeteries.

We were glad to show up in support of this event! The goal was to purchase an estimated 30,000 boughs this year. How can you contribute? Anyone can help at any level, click here to support!
