Folsom Ready Mix was honored to participate in the second annual Battle of the Bags cornhole tournament on March 20, 2025, at the Roebbelen Event Center in Roseville, California. This charity event, hosted by Roebbelen Contracting, aimed to raise funds and awareness for the Capital College & Career Academy (CCCA), a public charter school dedicated to providing students with hands-on learning experiences and dual enrollment opportunities in partnership with Sacramento State and American River College.

The tournament brought together over 200 teams from the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) community for a day of friendly competition, networking, and philanthropy. Participants had the unique opportunity to attempt breaking the world record for the longest cornhole toss, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Proceeds from the event support CCCA’s mission to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful careers in the construction industry. Folsom Ready Mix is proud to contribute to this initiative, fostering the development of future professionals in our field.

We extend our gratitude to Roebbelen Contracting, the California Cornhole Association, and all sponsors and participants who made this event a success. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of local students and the broader community.
